NECK & SHOULDERS

 

The aim is to strengthen weak muscles, release chronic contractions, stabilise joints, increase mobility and flexibility, establish new movement patterns and bring integrity to the structure.Yoga therapy movements integrate the whole body whilst focusing on the problem areas.

These practices will be beneficial to you if you are experiencing pain in neck and shoulders or if you wish to strengthen these area to avoid future problems. Props like long belt & blocks are useful for this workshop.

HEALTH OF BACK AND SPINE

 

A workshop for those whose backs need a little more attention. Are you slouched over at a computer all day? Do your daily activities cause stiffness or soreness in your back? Or maybe you have scoliosis? Come explore ways to help reduce back discomfort and to strengthen and increaseflexibility in your back.

All students welcome.

THE ART OF ADJUSTMENTS IN YOGA

 

Hands on adjustments offer the teacher ways to enhance our students experience. Supporting and stabilizing make way for the student to find their edge and eXperience more freedom in the pose. 1-2 Years of experience in teaching yoga is required for this workshop.

 

During this event, we will start with small practice exploring the principles of functional Hatha Yoga which will enable you to warm the body up before working in groups on how to modify and adjust the following poses for your students:
